API Question

Postby nscottbrown » Thu Aug 06, 2015 6:28 pm

I've created a php script that will post an XML string to the OS Dial API and I was wondering if it's possible use the API to either create or update a lead and set a call back date? The only date/time field I could find in the documentation was a field called post_date.

What exactly is the Post_Date field?

Thanks

The post_date is the date when the data was posted/written.
You can add a lead but currently there's no provisioning for setting a CB through the API. Which sounds like a nice feature.

Great thanks. I've gotten around this by parsing out the new lead ID in the API response and then writing a new record directly to the osdial_callbacks table. This seems to be working, but I'm not sure if there are other tables that handle lead call backs.

Also is there a way either through the API or the web interface to set a lead to "expire" and taken off the active lead list? in other words if the lead is more then x amount of days old or it's been X amount of days since the last call attempt? Would this be done through Lead Filters?

Afraid not. No aging feature. Also a good idea. All that is need now is for someone to place an order for it :)
