Customer hears a single ring on local closer transfer

Hello there! If someone could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it. This seems like it should be so simple but I just can't explain why it would be happening. I am trying to trouble shoot this for a friend, but I don't see any options that would do this... Only other thing to do is to explore dialplan but I'd have to request additional access to his system.

The campaigns are set up to transfer calls from an outbound campaign to a closer campaign using Local Closer ingroups.
When the customer is transfered to the closer, the ingroup is playing a single phone ring and then entering the in group and either playing the correct on hold music or transferring directly to the agent.

The single ring that the customer hears is not wanted, but I do not see anywhere to change this behavior. Any suggestions?
