Postby iptell » Fri Mar 21, 2014 7:49 am

I am trying to install new Osdial and I have new problem with yum update...
After running "yum clean all;yum update" output is:
Code: Select all
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, kabi, presto
Loading support for CentOS kernel ABI
Cleaning repos: base extras osdial osdial-updates rpmforge updates
Cleaning up Everything
0 delta-package files removed, by presto

 * rpmforge: repoforge.cu.be

osdial-updates/primary_db                                | 2.0 MB     00:00
Error: xz compression not available

After this update fails... Probably something with repos? What should I do to finish run yum update?

Looks like you are running 3.0.1 (3.0.2 has been released.)
I cannot reproduce it, it does look like a repo issue unless there's a media/data corruption.

To have it complete you run:
yum-complete-transaction

On the other hand if you simply want to stop it you run:
yum-complete-transaction --cleanup-only
